For grades K-8

Westford Recreation provides support for parents and children with full-day and full-week special programs during Westford Public School’s parent conferences, professional development days, and December, February and April school vacations. Special program events are educational, inspiring, and fun, and include a variety of locations and activities from Maple Sugaring at Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary, to vi sitingHarvard's Museum of Natural History and the APEX Entertainment Center in Marlborough.


Enrollment is open to children, grades K-8. Children from Westford's surrounding communities are welcome to join in!  Details, including fees, can be found online three weeks prior to the event date. Scroll down to register.

-Special Programs are not held on statutory holidays. Policies in the WPC Parent Handbook also apply to the Recreation Special Programs.

SUMMER - Keep it Coming at East Boston Camps!
  • Monday August 31 and Tuesday September 1 before school starts one last chance to hang out at our Destination Exploration Program space up at East Boston Camps.
  • The kids will enjoy fishing, hiking, sports and games, arts and crafts and MORE! Enjoy easy-going days before school starts!
  • Drop Off and Pick Up: East Boston Camps (Located at 1 Plain Road in Westford. The dirt road entry is directly across the street from Stony Brook Acres Sandwich Shop. Once there, follow the signs to the D.E. program.)
  • Please pack the following: Lunch, snack, water bottle, bathing suit, towel, bug spray, sunblock and a dry change of clothes.
  • Spending Money $ is optional $3-$5 for the Candy Store...no promises candy store will be open both days.
  • Please have your child dressed for the weather and good walking shoes. Sneakers recommended for walking around. Crocs or water shoes for swim / boating time.
  • As a reminder, all special programs are 9am-3pm with options for Early Arrival and Extended Day.
  • REGISTRATION CLOSES Friday 8/28/26 @ 12:00 noon!
