WPC Site Director and WPC Assistant Site Director

The Town of Westford is seeking applicants for the positions of Site Director and Assistant Site Director in our Westford Partnership for Children afterschool enrichment program, located at multiple Westford school sites. This position works under the direction of the Recreation Department and is responsible for delivering high quality afterschool enrichment programming.

Work includes ensuring a healthy, safe, and secure environment for program participants; developing and delivering engaging program curriculum and activities; managing and supervising part-time site staff; communicating with parents, school staff, and school administration; and ensuring site schedules and records are up to date and accurate. This position also works for the Recreation Department during the summer assisting with summer program oversight.

The Site Director should possess the ability to effectively and appropriately communicate with all members of the public and staff, be of good character, and have a strong sense of responsibility for ensuring high quality programming. Applicants must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience working with elementary school children in a professional setting, BA in Education or related field and knowledge of EEC Licensing requirements is preferred. Must be proficient with the use of computer software programs/Microsoft Office. Must also be willing to be First Aid and CPR certified. The normal work schedule during the school year is 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday - Friday. Hours vary during summer programming. Attendance at an occasional night meeting is required.

This is a permanent part time position that receives the Town benefits package. The Site Director starting salary is $21.40 per hour and the Assistant Site Director starting salary is $17.84. The position will remain open until filled.
