Westford Recreation oversees two public beaches: Forge Pond and Edwards Beach.
Forge Pond, located near Forge Village center, can be reached by the access road that runs between Bradford Street and the railroad tracks, both off of Rt. 225 (Pleasant Street, if driving on 225 west towards Forge Village center, the access road is on the left, just moments after the Cameron Senior Center.)
Edwards Beach at Nabnasset Lake is located at the end of Williams Avenue off of Plain Road.
Westford Town Beaches 2024 Season: June 24 through August 16, 2024
Hours: Monday-Sunday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Fee: Westford Residents are free, but must have proof of residency.
Beach Pass: Nonresidents are $10 per person, per day. (Charge includes access to the Forge Beach Playground and the Ronan McElligott playground at Edwards Beach.)
Three and under, and 65 and over are free.
Season Beach Pass:
A season pass can be purchased for non-residents during beach season for $90 (family of five.) Pricing for nonresidents is subject to change. Learn More>

Please note: only Coast Guard approved flotation devices in good and serviceable condition may be used at Westford Town Beaches. The PFD (Personal Flotation Device) must be the appropriate size for the intended user. No lifeguards will be on duty.
PLEASE NOTE: There are no public boat launches in Westford.

Edwards Beach and Forge Pond Beach are community resources to be enjoyed by the public year round from dawn to dusk. During the off-season, please help us keep these facilities clean by following a Carry-in/carry-out trash protocol. We appreciate your help!
