Bollywood dance is a style of dance that has its roots in Indian cinema, particularly in the Bollywood film industry. It is a fusion of various Indian classical and folk dance forms with contemporary and Western dance styles. Bollywood dance is characterized by its energetic and lively movements, expressive facial expressions, and vibrant costumes.

The dance style features a lot of hip and pelvic movements, fast footwork, and hand gestures. It also incorporates a lot of theatrical elements, such as dramatic facial expressions and storytelling through dance. The music used in Bollywood dance is usually upbeat and lively, with a mix of traditional Indian instruments and Western beats.

About Instructor Rachana Agrawal:
I have a deep love for Bollywood dance. I am currently training for Kathak and have performed at various cultural events. I love teaching and through the series of BollyX classes you will be able to learn technicalities and steps of Bollywood Dance. There are several cultural events coming up in Summer where I would like our group to perform.
